According to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, the Argentine striker has his doubts about renewing his contract with PSG and is still considering his options.
Romero revealed: “As of today, Messi does not intend to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, and therefore not to renew his presence with the Paris-based team. Winning the World Cup in Qatar changed his way of thinking, as he values other things in the near future.”

It seems that winning the World Cup in Qatar was the reason behind Messi’s mental change. Once he achieves the only title he has stumbled upon, the Argentine superstar will not appreciate the sporting aspect so much, but will now take into account other factors.
