Javi had a great match in the final against Real Madrid, scoring the first goal and assisting the other two goals for Lewandowski and Pedri. A performance that earned him the man of the match award and high praise from everyone.
“It left me speechless. It is pure passion, pure soul. Taste is bad when it’s not playing. He hits the team at only 18 years old. The heart he has is incredible. Javi is a boy who excites us all. He puts his soul and personality on the field. It is instinctive. The anger that comes out of him is amazing. I never tire of praising him. This boy has no roof”, said Xavi Hernandez after the match about Javi.
The Spanish Super Cup final did not witness moments of controversy or disagreements between the players of the two teams. But there was a moment that went live unnoticed but the Spanish network, Movistar, published a video in which Dani Ceballos is seen pulling Jaffe’s hair in an ugly gesture after a foul.
The Barcelona player had the ball, and Ceballos wanted to take it from him, and when he failed, he pulled the hair of the Barcelona midfielder from behind, who responded by pushing him. The referee did not see the scene and tried to mediate between them.
